Each year, our weeks of mid-July and early-August enroll first, leaving our first few weeks available amidst the waitlists.
Is there something different about the weeks in the early parts of summer?
No! We proudly offer the same multi-sport, overnight camp experience each week of the season! All signature activities such as the jet skiing, banana boating, rock climbing, and mountain biking run all summer long. Not to mention, our staff live onsite for the entire summer, making sure the ISTC atmosphere remains upbeat and welcoming.
Why do the other weeks fill much earlier?
Families tell us that the weeks of mid-July to early-August are often used as “blackout” weeks for sports, meaning teams cannot schedule practices, tournaments, or tryouts during those times. As a high energy sports facility, we understand wanting to be available for as many athletic events as possible.
So, why are the early sessions just as awesome?
While anytime is perfect for the ISTC experience, prioritizing camp at the beginning of summer has advantages coming off school, promoting flexibility, and celebrating 4th of July.
Freedom to Commit to Other Summer Plans
Booking camp for the end of June or start of July gives you flexibility to plan for the rest of summer – worry-free. ISTC is designed as a one-week experience to supplement the other awesome things you might have planned already. Camping early means you can partake in sports tournaments, family vacations, and other social events without a break. Not mention, your camper will be able to take on everything with increased confidence and self-esteem instilled by our programs!
Celebrate School’s Out in Style
ISTC is the best way to celebrate school’s out! As a technology free experience, our sports programs encourage campers to put their cell phones down, detox from social media, and simply enjoy spending time outside with peers. Despite training in our name, our programs are focused on personal growth and building friendships, allowing campers to play without the pressure to perform. No grades, no yelling coaches – just playing sports with peers to discover new interests and make friends.
4th of July Celebrations
While our program’s structure and offerings repeat from week to week, 4th of July week (Week 2 for summer 2025) has unique celebrations specific to the holiday. Our Food Service team, comprised of chefs who prepare our wedding and event menus during the non-summer months, put together an All-American cookout for campers to enjoy. We also host impressive fireworks display over our private lake. With so many international staff, the energy around 4th of July is electric as we celebrate and share our culture.
