Every spring and fall, we open the camp up and invite families to see and experience ISTC first hand! The weekend of March 22 and 23rd, we were excited to welcome 50 new and prospective campers and their families to tour camp. Camp tours are a great opportunity to find out all about ISTC, learn what to expect when arriving at camp, meet some of our staff, and help acquaint and reassure first-time campers and families.

The informative tours last anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour. We visit all the facilities and talk about what camp is like in the summertime. In the dining hall, families even have an opportunity to sample camp food!

The March tours featured a selection of summer lunchtime favorites like sloppy joes and hot dogs, along with a selection of desserts, fruits and vegetables. Although the weather was a little on the cold side, everyone enjoyed their tours and were pleased to have all their questions answered! Many camper families even purchased camp gear so they are all ready and excited for their summer stay!
