Roommate Portal

NEED TO MAKE A CHANGE?
Simply email (office@international-sports.com) or text (570-620-2267) to change your camper’s roommate requests.
We do not finalize the cabins and sports teams until summer, so there is plenty of time to make changes. Please ensure requests are up to date 2 weeks before your scheduled check-in.
You’ll find out your camper’s cabin number and counselors’ names during check-in.
ROOMMATE REQUEST POLICIES
All campers can list up to 3 friends they would like to be in cabin with. Additional requests can be noted, but are not prioritized.
Requests can only be honored if everyone in the group is within 2-years of age.
Siblings that are more than 2 years apart will be placed in separate cabins, despite how great they get along at home. Fortunately, both afternoon and evening recreation feature free time that allows campers from different cabins to do activities together.
Alternatively, we can accept requests for siblings to be placed in different cabins.
ISTC is focused on camaraderie and growth; we do not accept non-requests.
It is not always possible to keep large groups together, despite all requests meeting our requirements.
In the event a group is too large, we will split the group based on individual requests so that everyone is with at least one of their requested friends.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Equipped with air conditioning and bunk beds, your camper’s cabin is their home base for the week. Cabins are organized by gender at birth and kept to a 2-year age difference.
Beds are pre-assigned prior to arrival, so there is no need to beat the rush on your scheduled check-in day.
Bathrooms and showers are located inside and have individual doors/curtains.
All campers are given dresser drawers and additional storage for luggage.
Our virtual tour shows off our cabin’s interior.
Campers are welcome to attend solo. Many prefer it since they spend so much time with their hometown friends at school. We prioritize bunking solo campers with others coming by themselves to help them connect.
A camper’s sports team is their main activity group. This co-ed group meets 3 times a day for their structured sports sessions, which include the signature activities like jet skiing, banana boating, and rock climbing. Each team has a unique schedule, but cover the same activities across the week. Similar to cabins, teams are kept to a 2-year age difference.
We organize the sports teams using the cabin roommate requests, so there is no need to make additional requests.
We want campers who have requested to bunk together to also take on ISTC’s activities together. Similarly, we want solo campers to match up with the others coming by themselves.
