Just a couple weeks ago, we concluded our 35th summer of ISTC! We are so grateful for the opportunity to help campers build life skills through sports year after year. While activities change, the overall philosophy of our programs stays the same. Adventure activities like jet skiing, rock climbing, and mountain biking have become staples because they push campers to not only have fun, but to grow in confidence. This summer’s additions quickly became favorites for the same reasons – let’s dive in!
Golf
Located near mountain biking and pickleball, we debuted golf as part of our adventure program. We installed both a driving range and putting green area so campers can learn the sport in different capacities. With individual instruction from our team, campers will be introduced to the basics and have the ability to try a variety of clubs in a pressure free environment. Campers have a session of golf built into their schedule and can also choose to visit the driving range and putting green during afternoon open recreation periods!

Bouldering
While campers are not climbing the rock wall tower, tackling the high ropes obstacles, or zooming on the zipline, bouldering is now an additional element at our Ropes Course! The bouldering pavilion allows campers to take on a unique challenge while also staying cool and dry. Bouldering is the perfect rainy-day option for campers who love to climb and traverse the elements, although it is open during campers’ ropes course sessions and recreation periods.

Cooking
So much of our All Sports and IXTC programs are focused on adventure and team sports – it’s in the name! However, we want to provide a holistic camp experience by offering traditional activities, like dances, competition events, and campfires. The newest addition to our weekend programming is cooking! One of our sous chefs runs a class each Saturday with a different menu item – banana bread, ravioli, and cupcakes to name a few. The best part is campers get to eat their prepared food at dinner, along with the main meal.
Silent Disco
While the Silent Disco isn’t new for 2025, it remains a signature to our Friday night experience! We love that it gives campers an increased sense of confidence to sing and dance. We have the headphones programmed to glow a different color based on the soundtrack, so its fun to watch campers make friends based on what song they are listening to. With headphones for every camper and staff member, the silent disco is a giant party!
Waterfront Inflatables
Our private 100-acre lake is arguably the most popular spot at camp. It helps us beat the heat in style year after year. Separate from the jet skiing and banana boating, our inflatables add another option for campers to play, swim, climb, and enjoy! The corner swing is one of the notable additions this season, although we love adding onto it each year.
