ACA Keystone Conference

Camp Director Mark Major is the educational chair on the American Camp Association's Keystone section. This month, members of Pennsylvania camps gathered in Harrisburg for their annual conference. Topics included earth friendly camp practices, health center safety protocals, ensuring camp menus are nutritious, promoting positive camper behaviors, continual development of staff, and more!

Mark was one of the featured speakers on earth friendly camp practices. His workshop focused on this summer's installation of the solar array at ISTC. Mark shared his personal experience from his substantial research to the process of the installation. He hopes his conference session has educated other camps in pursuing "green" power alternatives.
